Beautiful Kaapsehoop (or Kaapschehoop) is an idyllic village. Originally built during the gold rush and then forgotten for many decades before being revived and turned into the peaceful, picturesque haven that it is today, the village is beloved by locals and out-of-towners alike. Every year, I spend some time here, walking among the rocks, taking in the views from the edge of the escarpment, and pacing through the forests. The serenity here is indescribable and each time I return to Kaapsehoop I see something new. Each season is different and the early mornings and late afternoons are the best times to take photos.

I took this photo while walking back from a hike to what looks like the edge of the world. This print will look exceptional in a living room, a bedroom or in a study or office space.
