As you have probably already noticed, I enjoy growing things. And herbs are just one of the many things that I have on the go in my kitchen garden. It was only when I started growing herbs that I realised just how much more flavourful food tasted when prepared with freshly harvested herbs. Along with cooking with fresh herbs, the abundance from the garden means I can dry and store the herbs too. My fascination with having herbs nearby is partly thanks to my husband who brought home the oregano herb plant in this photo. It was a tiny plug that exploded in the summer, turning into this delightfully fragrant bush. I am sorry to say that I neglected my oregano and it eventually died. I am now growing a fresh plant from seed, and every time I look at this image, I know one day I will have such an abundant bush again.

This image is a portrait shot and it will be the perfect sort of image to hang in a kitchen.
