About a year or so ago, I was taking a long walk up a hill on a friend’s farm. It was a lazy Sunday and there was a cold front rolling in, bringing with it clouds and rain, something that is rare for us in July but not completely unheard of. As I approached the top of the hill, I saw this tree. It was the only one that had no leaves. To me, it encapsulated everything about winter; the cold, the feeling of being bare and exposed to the elements when outdoors, the shedding of the old and the preparing for new growth. It also made me think of the network of veins in the lungs, which is a reminder of how we as humans are part of nature rather than something outside of it.

This more minimalist wall art will look beautiful in any space, although it would look best in a space that is not overcrowded.

The file is downloaded as a single large PNG image that you will need to resize yourself. The specs are 4000px by 6000px.

The image can be resized into the following sizes:

  • A5 – 1754 x 2480 pixels
  • A4 – 2480 x 3508 pixel
  • A3 – 4961 x 3508 pixels

Please note that resizing the photo larger than its original specs will result in a blurred photo.

This product does not include a physical item unless you make a request, in which case we will send you a custom quote for printing and/or framing.
